We have our regular monthly business meeting on the first Monday of each month except for July and August or holidays, beginning at 12:30 p.m. at the C.M. Eppes Recreation Center at 400 Nash Street, Greenville, NC.   We have our recreational meeting on the second Monday of each month except June through September and December, beginning at 12:30 p.m. at the same location.   

We have Bingo and/or other games and pizza at our recreation meeting on the second Monday of each meeting month. There is a small fee for Bingo.  

On the third Monday of each quarter, the Club celebrates members' birthdays at 12:30 p.m. at the C. M. Eppes Recreation Center. Other planned special events might include the Black History Month program, Year End Celebration, The Black and White Ball, and Annual Christmas Party.

We take trips and participate in various activities throughout the year. Visit our Traveling Committee link to learn more about specific trips and activities.  

The NCASCC sponsors a State Conference in September, and the District sponsors three main events annually: the Black Love Event in February, the Annual Picnic in the Park in September, and a Christmas Party in December. In addition, the District sponsors community outreach programs.   

While NCASCC District 1A events are for club members only, the Greenville Recreation and Parks Department sponsors day and overnight trips open to seniors aged 50 years and older. 

District 1A will hold its second quarter meeting on Monday, April 28, 2025, at CM Eppes Recreation Center, 400 Nash Street in Greenville, NC.  The meeting will begin at 10:30 am.  District 1A members are encouraged to attend.

Southside will hold its regular business meeting on Monday, March 3, 2025, at CM Eppes Recreation Center, 400 Nash Street in Greenville, NC.  The meeting will begin at 12:30 pm.   Members are encouraged to attend.

District 1A presents its annual Black Love Day Luncheon on Friday, February 7, 2025, at CM Eppes Recreation Center, 400 Nash Street in Greenville, NC.  The Hertford County Senior Clubs are hosting this event.  Doors open at 10:30 am and the event will begin at 11:00 am.  The cost is $23.00 per member or guest.   If you would like to attend, the last day to pay is Tuesday, January 21, 2025, at the District 1A first quarter meeting.  

Bingo will be held on Monday, February 10, 2025, at CM Eppes Recreation Center, 400 Nash Street in Greenville, NC.   This event begins at 12:30 pm.
