The Club was established in 1984 with the focus of providing a venue in which mature adults could interact in an atmosphere that is conducive for positive thinking and active involvement.  

The Club is a member of the North Carolina Association of Senior Citizens Clubs (NCASCC) and District IA.   District 1A consists of Senior Citizen Clubs in Edgecombe, Halifax, Hertford, Pitt, and Wilson Counties.
