Take Southside out to the ballgame . . .

On July 10, 2024, we had an amazing time at the ballgame!   We attended a Minor League Baseball game at Grainger Stadium in Kinston, NC.  The sun was shining and for a moment we had some liquid sunshine!  Our seniors were buzzing with excitement and the atmosphere was relaxing.   From enjoyable plays on the field to indulging in classic stadium snacks, every moment was filled with joy and laughter.   The Down East Wood Ducks mascot "DEWD" made a stop at the pavilion to greet us and took pictures with us.  We also had a special welcome to the game by the announcer.  WCTI, Channel 12 caught some of us on film for the evening news.  It was a perfect afternoon spent with Southside members, cheering for the Wood Ducks and soaking in the energy of the game.   Fun was had by all, and it was an experience to remember!   Enjoy these pictures with us....
